Walleye - One of the most popular fisheries in
the Mid-Columbia, Walleye are a sporting fish to catch and are highly prized by some as the best eating
fresh water fish available. Many experts believe the next world record will come from the
Columbia River in this area. Walleye can be caught year 'round with early spring (February
- April) usually best.
Sturgeon - Hard runs and aerial leaps make this "Big
Game of the Columbia" a challenge for any sportsman
to land with rod and reel. Sturgeon from 7 to 9 feet long are caught regularly, and
although the oversized fish must be released, it will give you an experience you won't
soon forget. Late May through July provides the best action due to the enormous
runs of American Shad that they feed on. Our sturgeon trips are for 6
hours due to the bite being best before noon.
Trout - Rainbows native to the Deschutes River,
known as "Redsides", are some of the hardest fighting trout that you will catch on a fly rod. The year 'round
fishing is second to none with hatches virtually every day of the year. Don't
miss the "Salmon Fly" hatch in May and June. Beautiful scenery, accommodating
weather, and whitewater thrills combine to make a Jet Boat trip on the famous Deschutes River a most enjoyable
experience.

Steelhead - Summer runs start in July and
continue through the end of
the year, and whether you fly or spin fish the Deschutes or troll in the Columbia, don't
miss out on this spectacular fishing. All Deschutes River trips will take you through some
class III and class IV rapids which will add an exciting element to your fishing
excursions in this unique scenic canyon. Day trips and multiple day camping trips are both
customized to fit your fishing style.
Salmon - Fall runs of Chinook migrating to the
free flowing reaches of the Columbia River are known as "Up River Brights". September / October is the time to catch
these big Salmon where fish over 40 pounds are not uncommon. Trolling deep diving plugs or
jigging with spoons are the most effective methods of catching these "Columbia River
Hogs".
